Job Summary: 
Basic administrative tasks like filing reports, forms and documents, answering phone, helping in the planning of tours, meetings, and other events or activities related to the closure planning at Keno Hill Mine Site. This position will involve some field work and environmental monitoring near the Keno Hill Mine Site.

Main Duties
The assistant’s main duty will be to help the coordinator with the administration of the program. The closure planning assistant will work as a liaison between training organizations and funding agencies in order to support NND’s role into the closure plan.
including planning meetings.

Working Conditions:
This position is located primarily at the Lands Department office and out in the field at the Keno Hill Mine Site. Aside from these activities, there are also opportunities to participate in Closure Planning activities, review and discussion of study results, community consultation, training for citizens and meetings with government agencies.
